Who actually made it then?
Discussion
I met quite a few people, TVRBob, Planet Dave, Ding, griffless, jerryhattrick, wedgie and penelope to name a few, but who actually made it on the day?
I kept on just asking people straight out 'who are you then?' and then felt a right prat when they turned round and said 'I'm bob from harrogate' and they had nothing at all to do with PH!

I loved Ding's biblical trick with 5 loaves & 2 burgers at the barbeque - many thanks & last but certainly not least planetdave, I do hope you're feeling better now - sorry to have been a bad influence on Saturday night...
It was great meeting up with you all - bring on BTaP!!
Chris J, why did you go thro' Durham. Lost you and the 300ZX at the roadworks and ended up in Crook. Got there eventually. Washington Services was like a V8 explosion when we all started up, and then every one flew off rather than a big rumbling procession. Never seen a procession head off in so many different directions!

Was expecting to see more PH cars rather than just TVR
My (so far very reliable) Marcos was there, though I was put to the back for some reason....
I was parked behind your marcos Chris (blue Tuscan).
Agree with sagalout - maybe next year we could have a PH area as there were loads of TVR people but it was difficult to identify PHers. Great to see so many TVRs though.

Err, I don't know.
Were you in the Chimera I was following then overtook?
We thought the plan was to go Chester-le-Street, Stanley, Lanchester and so on, but when you went past the exit, I thought you knew something I didn't!
Then as we passed the slip road I saw all the cars waiting at the lights, they obviously drove away from the services too fast for us!
We went down to J62, turned round, went back to J63 and resumed the planned route.
Worked out for the best though, cos it meant we could take a more leisurely pace, stop every now and again to check the Marcos over (after 18months off the road, it was MOT'd on friday) and also stop in Frosterly to see my Gran who'd come out to wave us all through.
I think we got to Raby at about 11.50.
That was us, blue Chimaera and no map.actually it was in the boot.
We were going to go down to Coxhoe then across (the way we came back) but again like you, didn't realise the first few had gone down the C-L-S slip until too late. Then followed you......then lost you. Could you ask your Gran to get the tea on next year for ther rest of us.

GM still haven't decided whether the Holden Monaro will be brought into the UK or not. Even worse it may be badged as a Vauxhall he he.
Note this won't be a HSV - it will be just a Holden, still have the same engine though. And very nice interior.
The reason the verdict is not out yet is down to Vauxhall who are releasing a new Omega V6 twin turbo - I guess the cars will clash in the market.
I know which I'd go for.
