Is anybody else out there doing the RtI tomorrow?

I shall be crewing on Beneteau 7906 Kerketreker and am so looking forward to it - second time of taking part and after getting a DNQ last year hoping for better thingswink.

So if you are what will you be on?

Was on one of the Press boats...snapping at Lewis Hamilton on board BOSS.
Alex Thomson's Open 60 HUGO BOSS was involved in a pre-start incident with the Farr 45 Atomic which was dismasted and the bowsprit of HUGO BOSS broken off.

Friend of mine James looks after Atomic on the Island. He was ment to be taking her to Cork on Thursday, looks like that's not going to happen!!!

I do mast on Deliverance 2, A Dehler 39. Had an interesting time of it round at St.Cats, 2 HUGE broches, keel out an all! Great fun though, finished in 07.09:34 corrected to 07.43.

It was interesting was'nt it - 12.4 knots was the max we saw heading towards St Cat's with a big broach thrown in for good measure, but brilliant fun. We also tore the No1 Genoa and had an interesting moment when one of the crew was knocked out by the main sheet for a minute or so but apart from that fab.

Looking at the photos on the site I saw Atomic's "after teh event" dismasting and the capsized boat on the South side of the Island - will hopefully post some pics latter.

We sailed a brand new 30 ft boat over to the Island on Friday. Had a fun race with an elapsed time of 5hr 10 mins, correcting to 3rd in class and first production boat by almost 45min. Any guesses...?

That's us. Quite pleased as we only launched it on the Wednesday, so our maiden voyage was the trip over to the island.
