Front end alignment!

Hi guys, I,m new to this... The front end on my S2 is not lined up square, so the bonnet pins are fouling..I,ve already knackered the release cable! I can ajust it up/down and fore/aft.. but i cant get it to move side/side... Any ideas

Interesting name there!

The bonnet hinges on mine are threaded shafts, with a hollow tube on it, with a nut either side to hold it in position, moving the nuts will move the bracket side to side at the front.

This probably makes no sense at all!

My hinge bolts were really tatty, I replaced them with some M12 longer ones from B&Q, and put 2 nuts either side of the bracket so once the bonnet position was right the nuts could be tightened against each other to hold it in position, just leaving enough play for the bonnet hinge to rotate.

Thanks... This shows what I thought may be wrong... the bolts on mine are not threaded! so there is no positive way to ajust them... Now i,ve got the idea.. thanks again.. By the way.. I live in Newbold, Chesterfield... and i,m an old fart!
