New bike in the arsenal! Need some advice though
Discussion
I just picked up another new steed today. This time it's a Specialized Sirrus.
No pics of my actual bike yet, but I'll post one up soon.

I also think I got a reasonable deal with a good set of ultra-light road pedals, a couple of "frog" lights, a bell (need one in a city), and a good top-end Abus Bordo lock. All this for £420. Me's happy!
It's bloody quick and brilliant for riding around the city. The only thing is, it has 34c tyres on it, yet the standard ones are 28c.
To be quite honest, I'm pretty happy with the 34c tyres but that's probably because I've not tried the 28's. The bike shop said it was fine to try them out today and if I'm not happy, I can get them swapped for free tomorrow to the original 28's.
What would the PH mass recommend?

Nice bike. As for the tyres, if all your riding is on the road I would go for the 28s, but the 34s could give you a slightly smoother ride if you want that.
Thanks! That's pretty much what the chap in the shop said. But since it's all road riding I'm doing, I guess it would probably be better for the narrower tyres.I've also done away with the suspension seat post. I've got it fitted now, but they've swapped it to an ultra light fixed one for free....He also told me if I didn't like the fixed one, they could put the suspension one back on for me.
Unfortunately as most of you know (Euro 2008), it's pissing it down in Vienna so I can't really head out for a ride which is a big shame. Just hope it dries up tomorrow and I can really try it out after work.
