I just wanted to say what a great bunch of chaps they are at Fernhurst. I bought my 3rd TVR, Griff 500 in November after being diagnosed with MND. Simon and Graham were really helpful sorting me a deal to allow for potentially short ownership, although 8 months on I'm still able to drive it :-)
Anyway there were a few niggles that needed sorting and I was down there today to sort out the idling problem. Apart from sorting this out, they dealt with a leaking door seal and repaired the drivers mat. Not only that, when i mentioned that i was now struggling to lift the roof on and off and thinking about a half cover for the occassional showproof overnight protection, Graham promptly shot of to his stores and fished the exact cover out and has let me have it until I sell the car.
Everyone is always very friendly and happy to chat and provide back to back cups of coffee. The service was equally good 12 years ago when i bought my first TVR (V8S) and I kept graham there till 8pm while i decided between the two examples they had.
Anyway, just felt compelled to write this. Life isn't easy at the moment and my blasts in the Griff are a welcome releif made all the easier when the backup from the dealer is so good.
If you want a decent TVR from a decent bunch of guys, Fernhurst is the place to go. Thanks Graham, Simon, Brian and Drew for your help.
