Alfa GT 3.2V6 buyers guide?

Hello alfisti =]

while I myself revel in the chavviness of my rice rocket, a good friend of mine is looking to trade up from his Fiat Coupe 20vT to an Alfa GT 3.2 V6.

Can anyone point me to a buyers guide / or point out the key things to look out for on them? They are fairly new cars, but if there are any major watch-outs that would be great.

Pretty much same as any 147/156 chassis - listen for clonks and bonks from the poor suspension bushes. Check tyres have worn fairly evenly across the tread - especially look at the very inner tread. Check all electrics work. Engine wise they are pretty tough on the V6. Cambelt change mustn't be any later than 60,000 miles or 5 years at absolute tops so budget for this if it hasn't been done. Also I think the spark plug change can be quite pricey so watch out for that. Happy shopping!
