if you look at this turner winning shot (well might fail and just get a pulitzer) at the upper right region you will see a flurry of dust spots.
After the trouble I've taken to ensuring the sensor and chambre was contaminant free I was a little pissed off to say the least.
Now they only appeared on this one shot, none of the others recently (lens not changed) and subsequently not on any of my shots from yesterday.
The only difference being when I took this shot I had a polarising filter on it.
Now I had taken a few other shots the same night and noticed nothing. Is it possible tht the filter is highlighting spots that oherwise would not have been noticed? This I doubt as they are so prominent you would surely see them on other shots.
i've tried looking on the filter but cant see anything and surely something like this I would see. Or is it possible it highlighted dust on the lens?
