S2 Radiator Removal

Hi Guys

Got a job to do soon to have rad checked over. Have had slight seepage at one bottom corner of the rad so I want to get looked at and repaired/re-cored.

I hoping to do it without removing the bonnet, see below


I've had a quick look but cant see any bolts retaining the rad. Its the earlier style with the fan on the engine side of the rad. Can anyone tell me where to look please, thanks.

Hi Norman, dont know if it is the same as my S1 but if it is there are two plates, one down each side of the radiator and in front of the radiator. These fit over pins at the top of the rad but are mounted at the bottom. Each is held on by 2 x 10mm bolts close to the bottom. Remove the bolts and the plates lift up over the pins and the rad can then be lifted up. Need a bit of care when putting back as the rad can rest on these plates and could get damaged. I used a couple of bits of thick card to protect the edge of the rad when removing and refitting.
