S Club - thanks for coming!

Hi all 
On behalf of myself, Dave, Dale, Chris & Mark, thanks to everyone for coming today. The strong wind meant that S Club HQ was a carboard box gaffa taped to a table rather than the planned marquee/gazebo but it stayed dry and I think it was a great day. What made it for me was the people and cars that turned up
Seeing the field full of TVR's made the effort worthwhile and winning the award for the best Car Club at the show was the icing on the cake
I'm off to count the raffle money now. I'll let everyone know the final total raised in due course.

There were 117 cars at one point as best I could tell, but I never counted the S's.
I think there may have been one or two more as some left quite early and some arrived quite late. Chris photographed most (if not all) cars.
The Scottish lads were doing their own photo shoot when I left, and gearing up for another night at a good pub they found!

Thanks Guys realy enjoyed the day - sorry I left early but I was worried I might have problems with Gerald as he let me down just before arriving and them just before I parked. What a contrary car ran like a sewing machine all the way back - not a single problem , still thats TVRs I guess
What a great day. Very well organised and a great turnout. Thanks for all the hard work in organising this guys. James, my four year old loved it, a bit wind swept but busy colouring in the S on the programme as we speak!! The first outing in my 'new' V8S too so thankfully no dramas!
What a great day out, the idea of sharing the event with the Kitcar show was brilliant; it gave us an extra attraction with lots to look at.
Just want to thank all concerned for sorting it all out and giving us a great S club 08
By the way I counted approx 73No "S" motors in total with 16No V8S.

Great day...thanks to Longers and all his excellent assistants....even the cheeky one.
Really enjoyed our first outing with our S...will be one I will always remember as her 'maiden voyage'
I have a good video of all the cars leaving for the run.
If anyone is good at editing the wind noise out it would be cool!
Super to catch up with old friends and made loads of new ones and a big
to the Scots lads...600 mile round trip... Excellent day.

Back home now and still glowing from windburn! It was great to see so many S's and to talk to so many fellow owners, the scenic drive was brilliant fun, the loudest exhaust was an absolute hoot and the rest of the show was quite interesting too...
Very many thanks to those who organised the day - you did a brilliant job!
And thanks to all who attended and made the day special.
