Hello All

From the other side of the globe ( South Africa ).
Almost finished my build and wondered if any one else has fitted a G96/88 box with an AMS 377 motor with 685 BHP in their Ultima. I'm a bit concerned about the angle of the side shafts as this box is a good 1-1 1/2 " longer in length than my previous 996 C2 box.
Am I stressing for nothing or is it a problem ????
The clutch and flywheel is a Tilton triple plate carbon/carbon weighing 13-1/2 lb . Has anyone got first hand experience with the modulation , bite etc . of this package and is it durable..??? Also with the total weight reduction of this package reducing the moment of inertia , what was drivability like . ie . response to acceleration , braking etc. compared to the one the factory supplied me , a bit on the heavy side.
Sorry to bombard with so many questions on my first visit but my patience and excitement is getting the better of me.
Advice would be greatly appreciated as SA has little to none available.

Must say "BLICK" is definitely trick. Compliments on your build too , stunning detail. If only we could get quality carbon fibre work done over here. That's what dreams are made of .Tell me is your GTR body colour impregnated gel coat or painted?? Reason for the question is I'm keen to put the wheel arch vents but not sure how the gel coat would come out.

The GTW is painted due primarily to the fact that there are so many body mods, a gelcoat match was not possible.
