Perhaps you could let me know if it streams ok - or do I have to murder it's size?

Steve, my firefox doesn't play mpg's (not installed the plugin yet), but it downloaded at around 500k per second.

That was one stunning video & the music was spot on. I so want to be there right now frown

Ta chaps.

About 1980 photos in all. I'll have to squash them to get it to stream!

Steve

I streams if you play it using VLC, just entered the URL in and it played no problem.

However, I'm sitting at the good end of some insane connection!

How did you get the camera to take a photo every 45 seconds?

Aye, stream fine for me but probably because I'm closer to you than the others.

Nice project - well done.

As someone else asked; how did you set the camera to take a still every 45 secs?

Cheers,

Eric smile

So still, so peaceful, and so beautiful.

Congrats, Steve, that is STUNNING!

The music, as already mentioned, enhances your work so well.

Fab! thumbup

Cheers chaps

Yep dust on sensor, but I sure ain't going to dodge it out on 2000 photos!

Some Nikion DSLRs have an interval timer: mine (D2x) and D200 (and probably 3 and 300) not sure about the rest. It's hidden away in the shooting menu.

Blimey - someone else up this early on a Sunday!

It was a bit spooky with the music, as I wrote it years ago, and when I pulled it onto the timeline, it was exactly the right length.

Agreed - the nighttime stuff is the most atmospheric. Great work (as always) Steve...lot of effort in there I'm sure, but it's worked a treat! thumbup

Any idea what exposures it was doing overnight? Quite long i guess, or is it really that light?

It's never dark this far north at this time of year (we are same as Oslo here). In fact the vid makes it look darker than it was. Camera was set to auto - when I was changing the battery I clocked an exposure of about 1 sec.
