Roof Panel Seals

When I bought my S I knew that centre the roof seals were in the boot and the outer ones were hanging on via clear mastic bathroom sealant. Having spent two hours cleaning theold adhesive off the panels I don't know what to use to refit the seals. The previous owner had tried clear mastic on the outers and what looked like EvoStik on the centres.

Can anyone suggest the best brand/type of adhesive to use?

I've used Evostik contact adhesive for this in the past. It holds well, but they may be a better glue more suited to this application, since, from experience, the seals do start can start to come away again after a while.
