Alarm / Locking System

Having bought my car about 3 months ago and having never heard the alarm go off, I finally figured out why. DB pointed out this morning that the alarm was burnt out and never did work. Any ideas on what I am looking at financially to have a basic alarm system etc put in the Chim ?

I had a new Cobra system fitted to mine a few months ago, cost was about £450.

There has been quite a lot of discussion over the past week or so on the S Series forum. Typically Cat1 alarm fitted for £300-350. Various suggestions and links....

Don't feel bad about looking on the S forum as you have a Chim....

Nice - quote just came in - Cobra alarm - £430 + VAT - is that about right ??

I've had Thatcham class 1 systems fitted to both of my wedges in the past 12 months, fitted at home for £270 each. My advice is shop around.
