Which one?

I'll be looking into getting a new car starting in July or thereabouts. The basic requirements for it will be to be fun, as it's unlikely to see much use outside of weekends. It's likely going to be used as an only car, though. doing 5-10k miles a year.

I have several possibilities on the shortlist, including the 3R, NSX, Exige S2 and CSR. I do like TVRs very much lookswise but not sure it's quite the car for me - it needs to be at least sufficiently reliable to start every weekend and my wife needs to be able to pilot it along reasonably safely

The other complicating factor for most two seaters is that we have a dog. It's a foxterrier and she travels in the passenger footwell but needs to fit there (ca. 5 litre volume) with the passenger at the same time.

I made sure to read the forum for the obvious answers but here's questions I still have:

- which one of the ones above would you recommend for my requirements?
- any who have switched between the cars on my list?
- How is the Noble service network outside the UK?
- Any non-UK EU registered ones about and is it difficult?
- I read something about only a 28 litre tank being fitted as standard and a 60 litre factory option? How expensive / difficult is that to retrofit?
- I will most likely spend it's life on the road (not track), so is the 3R really the one to go for, or the 400? In terms of power both will be a leap in the right direction for me so I should not want for more that soon, it's more in terms of reliability?
- In that vein, which mods will improve reliability? (read about the exhaust, etc.)
- In terms of trying one out, I suppose the X Factor trackday represents the only option? Would you recommend it?
- What do you recon the usual tyres will last, if used normally on the road? 1 year at 5-10k miles or more frequent changes?
