I have been in Pre Sales in its varying forms (TAM / Solutions consultant etc.) for the last 8 or so years, working mostly for small consultants or software firms.

This has given a great insight into a variety of industries and applications, and I have a broad range of experience, in the early days some CRM and ERP, and Business intelligence around Intellectual Property, more recently Secure and complaint messaging, email and internet policy management, data loss prevention, and content integrity.

Due to the fact a couple of companies I have worked for have been at an early stage I have also been involved in product specifications, and elements of project management, working with the Dev team and also during implementations.

I have a home office in North Bristol, which works well for the Thames valley as well as national and international. Previous companies have been based in London, Bracknell and Chiswick, so I am used to spending a number of days travelling and working from a head office.

Basically I am looking for a new, more challenging role that will help me accelerate my career as there are limited options in my current position.

As far as target industries or companies are concerned, I am pretty flexible. I have been in the position where I have had to learn new technologies, applications and industries quickly before and am happy to do so again if for the right product.
