Ooooooh yes! 3pm today. Much grinning and jumping up and down was seen! First MOT for approx 5 years for this car. Far from 'finished' but at least I can go out and USE it a bit. First 'shake down' run went OK but it was only a few gentle miles (and in the wet!). Newark looks an awful long way away but there is now at least a chance of getting her there. If I can I b.....y well will! I was going to camp but sense prevails and I am going to try to do her first trip in stages, including Saturday night in a friends garage in Chesterfield (to see what is trying to fall off!). So, if an E reg, BRG, with tatty bodywork (Oh, and BMW front indicators of course!), turns up driven by a grey haired guy grinning like an idiot.......I've made it. Wish me luck!

I'm a happy bunny too...
Ours passed it's MOT on Tuesday....but Scole noticed the water pump wasn't sounding too clever so they have kept it and are repairing that.
Should, with a bit of luck be ready today....cos I wouldn't have time to go all the way to Diss to pick her up on Saturday....
So...if I can collect her tonight....we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
