I'm having a lot of trouble getting through to ACO about getting any news on my ordered tickets, so Lowdrag maybe you're right!

I have to go there later this week so I'll try and find out the up to date position and post it.

Is the capacity for the Classic the same as the 24hrs, or do they
close off some areas?

I'm asking because they are no longer offering tickets for sale
on the official site - could it possibly be sold out?

(I swear I'm not an ASBO-case, so please don't lead me astray )

Ah good. I won't travel over for it then. Good thing I hadn't booked the eurotunnel crossings.

You can buy tickets on the gate. I think that possibly they have closed internet purchases because we are but a couple of weeks away and there might be a problem with you receiving them by post.

is anyone doing the curcuit laps and has a spare seat?

I'd not get away with it in a Vito.

Lowdrag, is there any chance you could find out what day MB opens? I think it was Wednesday in 2006?

NormanD,

Was it simply a matter of going to the ticket office at Le Mans, quoting your reference, and hey presto, tickets in hand?

All pass giving access to the event + paddock + grandstands were exclusivily sold to clubs.
They are sold out right now...

The Bugatti circuit where they expect more than 6.000 vintage cars or modern cars such as 911 or TVR is also sold out... The event will for sure be a huge popular success...

What I can recommend you is the following :

- Contact your club as they may have some tickets left. One of my friends just did that with the French Lancia Club and got all that he wanted with the discount price which was granted to clubs.

- Otherwise, buy it when you go there as they will sell pass for the WE at the entrance gates.
The only tickets they still sell through the internet are WE pass only without paddock and grandstand.

Just hope the weather will be nice, as July in La Sarthe is not always as sunny as one could expect !

Are you sure about that old chap? I applied independantly for tickets to the event + paddock + grandstand and have got them (as I did in 2006)?
