I've always enjoyed camping in either Houx/Annexe or M-B but have been a bit uneasy about the excesses of the last few years. Despite this I was disappointed this year when the TVRCC could only allocate me a Bleu Nord camping ticket. What a pleasant surprise:

Negatives - slightly less central.

Positives - large (mainly) grassy plots, people enjoying themselves without chavinism, easy access and a very quick Sunday pm escape route down a little lane opposite the MB entrance, a British burger van doing everything from FEB's to sirloin steak and a campsite far enough from the track that you'll get some kip on Saturday night if you want it. Recommended.

We also stayed their for the first time and after much trepidation found it not that bad at all

It had well marked spaces, not too far to walk to the track, even had a field for the dog !! - Until some brits dug it up in there donuting 4 x 4 !

Only downside was helicoptors noiser than the race cars, they kept shutting down the urinals and the amount of frenchies rumaging through the rubbish on the sunday night

I stay in Camping Bleu every year with the Caterham club and find the atmosphere much more relaxed and less idiotic than elsewhere.
