So my air con doesn't blow out cold air because my heater valve won't shut off fully..

My fuel gauge has only 3 settings and drops without notice; full - half full - empty..

My handbrake is still st..

My driver's door will intermittently not unlock requiring entrance via the passenger door to unlock from the inside..

I've acquired a new knocking/rattle from the front N/S suspension. But checked suspension, brakes, wheel and steering all secure, so didn't worry..

My rear dampers are leaking..

But do i care???

No!

Just returned from a 1700 mile round trip to Le Mans via The Pyrenees. Did 6 mountain climbs in one weekend totalling more than 9000m of ascents... and descents smile

And will never get used to foreigners stopping me in the street to take photos, smiles, cheers and thumbs up from passing pedestrians..

And the engine never missed a beat! My trusty 2.5 engine has covered 53K now, and is shortly to be retired in favour of a 2500 mile M400 unit.

In the life of the car, outside of routine servicing, the engine/transmission has had only timing chains, tensioners and manifolds replaced so all in all its been a good one.

And there is no other car i would rather have been driving.

To anyone doubting Noble build a good car, don't!

I'll second that Pete. Just got back from Le Mans as well - only did 1500 miles though.
Car had annual service by Noble Motorsport before we set off - car never missed a beat and was an absolutely fantastic drive.

As you say the amount of people wanting photographs was unbelievable...

I only saw two other Nobles the entire week we were there!!! I don't know if it was you but some friends were frantically waving at someone who past the pub where they were waiting for us only to see someone 'flash by' in a Noble the same colour as mine laugh

Good to see that I'm not the only one who has more that a few thousand on the clock !

I missed not being in Le Mans this year, but V1 GTO will be going next year for sure, and hopefully make the drive down for the Monaco GP too.
From watching on the Telly it looked like a good scrap too, I thought it was going to be a pug whitewash this year.

BTW What are yon going to do with the old engine ?

I wonder if it will end up in an MR2...

Joolski, where do you stay when you drive down to the Monaco GP?

I`ve been a couple of times but would prefer to drive next year.

Cheers

Well done! It was destined for an AW11 Mk1 MR2..... Slight problem - the engine is 42" wide, from turbo to turbo, which would have left the rear turbo outside the boot rear panel!

So, the whole power unit will be up for sale.
