I'm considering replcing my old Kona AA hardtail with a Trek Fuel 7, I've not read any of the mags for a long time, any one own one? Are they any good?

The new Fuel EX7 with the ABP pivot is one of the best 5" trail bikes currently.

This is an 07 (it's been reduced to £1k which is the attraction). Does it compare?

The suspension linkage of the 07 bikes got a bit of a slating across the board if I remember correctly, which I guess is why they've changed it for 08 I guess. I've never ridden them myself so couldn't say either way, but a mate has just bought an 07 69er which he's loving to bits.
