Has anyone else noticed that on certain cars (the Ford GT and also one of the tuned R34 Skylines, although there may be others) that you cannot read the dials for 90% of the time, this is down to the shadows of the cockpit, but is there anyway to solve this problem, I know you can use the HUD but that kind of defies the point of the in car view

any ideas, dont want to ramp up the brightness for the sake of it,
tis also a shame you cannot turn off that HUD and just use the dials alone (if they offered them in both MPH and KPH)

Have you tried turning the side lights on so the dials illuminate?

by the way if you press the PS button when your in a race it sounds the car's horn
