Recommend me a wii game

Kids want to buy me a wii game for fathers day (after I dropped a hint). Torn between mario galaxy, mario strikers charged, mario kart, pro evo soccer... erm, which of these are good?

I quite like to dip in and out of games rather than play them for hours on end.

Mario Galaxy is the best of that bunch, but if you're going to be dipping in and out maybe Mario Kart or Pro Evo would be best, although Mario Kart does require a fair bit of time to be spent in order to unlock the courses and different characters, so maybe Pro Evo.

I like Mario cart but Mario Galaxy is also good although I've not actually tried it myself, my kids bought me (themselves) Guitar Hero for my Birthday but I'm crap at it (they tell me it's because I'm too old ) but it does require lots of practice.

If you like dipping in and out I would go Mario Kart over Mario Galaxy - Galaxy is a better game but rewards investment more I think. Kart you can dive in, have fun for 10 minutes or an hour, then move on.

Kart's ok is it? I liked the n64 version but I found it very easy and only really played it multiplayer after a few hours. No bad thing but we've got multiplayer games and I want to be self-indulgent

I like the idea of galaxy and enjoyed the ratchett and clank game on the ps2 and galaxy sounds like a similar adventure to follow... I'm just not sure I can be arsed with starting something like that without any benefits of unlocking stuff for multiplayer gaming.

Has anyone played pro evo? I like the look of the gameplay from the ads.

Wait until the end of the month for Smash Bros Brawl. You can legitimately kick the st out of Pikachu. What more could you want?
