Anyone with a Mk5 Golf and can check...

Hi,

I bought a Mk5 R32 last week to use as my daily driver - it's so much more fun than the BMW I traded in. Very Happy

I'm still finding my way around the car, but wanted to check something...

On the door window frames (the body coloured bit you can see from inside the car between the side glass and door seal) I have a small indentation or 'crease' on each side which looks like part of the factory manufacturing process. It's about 6" vertically above the door open/close handle.

Do all Golfs have this and is it perfectly normal?
Just caught my eye that's all...

Our 5 door has these 'welds'. I thought it looked a bit odd, but they're all like that. Possibly designed to break at a certain point in an impact?
