Picked up my 'cycle to work' Boardman Pro MTB at the weekend!

Unfortuately I can't ride it yet as Halfords didnt have to correct equipment to set up the disk brakes so I am fluidless until I can get it into my local bike shop (or work out how to do it myself). On the plus-side, the lack of fluid meant they gave it to me for £900 and threw in an extra £50 of tat as well, so I got the bike, camelback, 3 inner tubes, computer, pump and a leatherman type tool kit for my £1k voucher. Happy days!

Now I need to get the brakes working, buy a helmet, roof rack and some spd shoes and get cycling! Can't wait biggrin !

Thanks for all of the help in my 'what MTB' thread.

That's shocking that Halfords have done this with your new bike. Halfords were a bit clueless when I bought my Pro, but at least they set up the bike so that it actually ran with nothing falling off it.

I also thought the Juicy 7s come ready to install with no bleeding required, so it sounds like they's seriously messed up building your bike, or constructed your bike out of spares in the shop!

Hopefully you can get it sorted ASAP and enjoy using it as much as I have. Once i got the fit & setup to my liking, I've had no problems with the bike and it's been a trusty steed these last 4 months.
