WRR site and Beauséjour in general

I've been up today to sort out the toilet blocks for WRR only to find that the site has been changed. If you have a plan it is now 50 yds further on the right.
The reason is that after the torrential rain last weekend with floods everywhere the original site is like a quagmire so they are putting individuals where WRR were supposed to be and have moved WRR to where it is drier. For the rest of you, especially if you find yourselves on the left near the hedges or in the dip on the right near the farm, bring boots. We still have a few days for it to dry out and it is going to be hot for three days it seems so it will dry, but it is clay soil and at the moment cars would just bog down going across it. Keep praying!

My reliable and honest dad has just arrived at BSJ and he has said that although it is a little boggy underfoot in places he has managed to find a relative dry patch which by the time we turn up on thursday (providing there is no more rain) should be dry enough.... even now he's said there's no real need for hardcore footwear
At Beauséjour in places it is dry enough, especially after the heat of the last two days, but elsewhere it is only a crust. Walk on it fine, but put a car on it and you are likely to bog down, like the lorry which was there for hours today because they couldn't get it out so deep were the front wheels buried. I went to Houx yesterday and that is fine as are Bleu and Bleu Nord. The last two have sandy soils so there is never a problem. I haven't looked at MB but that should be the same. As regards my house, I walked out the front door just now and was immediately up to my chest in tepid water. Perhaps that's because I walked into the pool.

Whatever happened to tribune? I'm sure I stayed there the first couple of times I went in the early 90's...D
