Drag Racing 6th/7th of Sept.

This is following an email from Chris Mann (TOTB Organiser)

1/4m drag weekend, in Hampshire, on 6th and 7th September.

venue;
Baker Barracks, Thorney Island, Emswell, Hampshire.

Cost is £25 per car to race all day, full staging lights and 1/4m timing in use, head to head. Spectators in competing cars only. 10am start

I think Cliffy went to Thorney Island earlier this year. I am Trax on the Sunday, so I wanna go Saturday.

Joe and I went on Saturday.

Slow track!!

Only managed 13.18, Joe (well Louis actually) 13.12 he was fastest of the day with me second when we left.

Louis broke the car AGAIN!! Looks like the clutch or flywheel came apart, but Joe won't know until it is stripped.

Well done for coming 1st & 2nd,Joe only had the clutch&flywheel done recently,ide have been gutted cos he cant have many miles on it since it was done!

I think the guy that 'fixed' it will be getting a visit today!!

My 1st thought was loctite&bolts,sounds like some things come undone,hope ime wrong.
