Urgent Help required!! I have been offered the opportunity to work behind the scenes on a Le Mans LMP2 race car. However due to work commitments I am unable to leave the UK until some time on Tuesday afternoon, which means my lift will have gone without me! Basically I'm on the scrounge for transport to Le Mans. Is there any body out there that may be able to help? I only require a lift as all tickets/Passes and accomodation etc. are taken care of and getting back will not be a problem. I'm happy to travel to be picked up and I'm willing to contribute fuel expenses.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance,

Mike.

My co-driver has been told he can't have time off work so I too potentially have a spare seat for Wednesday morning, Dover-Calais 8:00am crossing.

Try Oggs or Shadytree. They are the forward party of our "Race? ... What Race?" group and I believe they are going down on Tuesday ... with an aston and a bloody massive Motorhome.

Either drop a line over on the RWR thread and tell them I suggested it, in the meantime I will text Oggs and point him in this direction smile

Which motor is it you will be working with?

hey up Jackman - I should have plenty of space on 10:45 Dover-Boulogne if it's any use to you. I'll be driving down from Yorkshire over Tuesday night / Wednesday morning so can pick you up anywhere along route that's convenient for you. (Zero)7763786415 is my phone number if so. Afraid I can't offer you anything as nice as a Tuscan though!

Thanks to all those that have replied so far. There are a couple of favourites on the list, I'll make some sort of decision this evening.

Thanks again,

Mike.
