What's the latest?
Are they banned again this year?
I've had a look on the ACO website but couldn't find anything and the 'Pools Aloud' thread was before the whole of France was thoroughly drenched and flooded out, so arguments that there's a water shortage don't really wash (if you'll pardon the pun).

Take one, put it up, if someone complains, chuck them in it...

You've got to have a process in place for these things. You can't mess about when it comes to Le Manswink

Alternatively, if in doubt, cover it with a 4-sided gazebo or such.

That's of course assuming it was ever about water shortages and not all about the ACOs water bill...

There's no water shortage at the moment. No wonder, it has been bucketing down in the last couple of weeks. As far as I know, paddling pools are still not allowed, though. It has definitely something to do with the ACO's water bill.
