Just back from three days in scotland.
- Went up last friday night, night on edinbough town sleeping over a friends house, cooked scotish breakfast, full works. And then two days riding glentress and stopping over at Melrose youth hostal.

Four of us from uni with five bikes, borrowed the family people carrier and trailer (806 with 8*4ft flatbed) and split all the costs between us.

Weather was absolutly spot on the the whole time, and the riding was excellent. Covered most of the ground. Two mornings on the free-ride area, time on th red/blue runs, and a full afternoon going around the black XC route. That an evening in the pub afterwards. Beautifull

Its long way from staffordshire. About five hours drive. But at about £80 each way in fuel its not too bad split between four. And i would do it all again tomorrow if i could have the time off work!

So which clever dick rode 2 bikes?wink

It is great fun up there. I went up last Easter and would love to go again now I'm properly into mountain biking and have a decent bike. Planning a few trips in the summer (PH meet anyone?).
