Hi all, this months competition theme is going to be:-

'MAN MADE LANDSCAPE'

I've had a look back through the themes and I don't think we've ever had a landscape theme, but I realise we're not all as blessed as Mr Carter, so I'd like to add a twist. Nature's landscape can be wonderful, but often it is enhanced by something man made a bridge, a shed, a monument, an old fence, row of terraced houses or an entire cityscape. But also man can have had a negative impact on the landscape - a power station, an old mine, row upon row of high rise flats (still in Hong Kong so this is all around me at the moment). So I'm really after shots that show how we have alterered the landscape for good or bad.

Hope thats a wide enough brief. Entries to close midnight on the 30th June, I'm going to be on holiday so I'm 8 hours behind I think so results out sometime on the 1st.

BTW Mrs Fish, I've got a list of all of the competion entries we've had so far, might be an idea to add them to the competion rules post, but thats closed now.

Cheers... it was my third roll through the camera - first B&W. Love that camera, although it is as unforgiving as they come...

Funny you say that - HP5 is my favourite B&W film. Just can't use 400ASA on the Hassie out here in Israel - the camera only goes up to 1/500sec, and the light during daytime is just the right side of blinding wobble
