Paintshield or Armourfend?
Discussion
I can't get my mind round a car-bar, it boggles everytime I think about it.
It's like the bit in Red Darwf when Lister asks for tomato sauce ( i think ) on something and Kryten's shouts "Tomato sauce! " and then his head explodes ! Then they fit him with spare head two and he carries on from where he left off and that head explodes as well !!
Car-bra - if you dont want stone chips on your car then dont drive it. And if you dont drive it - sell it.

Does anyone have opinions on which of the two is better?
I've got quotes for both which seem to be quite similar but the paintshield website seems to be convincing regarding the 4 year warranty they give against defects.
Cheers,
Leon
Don't bother with either, just keep your money and get the front re-sprayed when it gets bad. It's inevitable that you will get a stone chip 'just' about the Armourfend!I've got quotes for both which seem to be quite similar but the paintshield website seems to be convincing regarding the 4 year warranty they give against defects.

+1Mine had Amourfend on it when I got it 2 years ago. I have never had it before and thought about taking it off when i first got it.
I know you can see the line across the front but in my opinion it has been a good compromise as I use mine regularly and i have no nasty chips of note.
Yes, you can save the money for a respray, but to me that's just too much hassle and less time being able to use the car. Also I have a friend that had his resprayed which looked lovely. Then about 2 months later it looked blasted again.
At the end of the day it comes down to whether you can bare seeing a line on the car. Although biggriff's other option sounds good.
