Elvington/Run to the North. 2004

As we now have the dates for next years Elvington "Ten Of The Best", i would like to put together a weekend for those making the trip.
I know its nearly a year away but it would be good to get things rolling before everybody's 04 diaries fill up.
I have been in contact with the Northwest and Yorkshire regional reps who have put in a favourable response and would be keen for their areas to take part.
The idea is to meet at a service area just North of Northampton on the M1 somtime on Friday 29th July,a couple of stops,arrive hotel Elvington friday eve.
Saturday; either a trip to a well known American car parts dealer(who have wheel alignment facilities)in the morning,and/or a corvette show in the hotel carpark in the afternoon.
Followed by evening meal/disco in the evening.
Sunday would be onto Elvington for"Ten Of The Best".
It would be a weekend where you could take part in as much or little as you would wish,and relax in like wise company.

Erm think ile pass on that,poor ole Andy,,we spoke the other night and he said he feels terrible about it,said its bad enough happening to your own motor but when it happens to yer mates ...well.

Hi Tom,
Great idea,yes i love vettes but it would be good to have something else to look at ,we now have one of our members liasing with 200+club on the event,i will be working on the Hotel and what *all* would like to do on the weekend of TOTB3.
I see the weekends event as an oppurtunity to involve Northern owners(Vettes and Vipers)in what would be an enjoyable weekend.
