last time I went to LM was in '88 !!



yes.. very embarassing photo of me, but I am sat in the SilkCut XJR-9 (which won that very year!!)

Anyway.. planning the trip for next year... where's best to camp??
want to be right in the thick of it.. but with decent facilities (for the other half).. what are they like now??

Is there a PH convoy planned???

Everyone will tell you different places to camp.

Its down to personal preferences.
I have stayed in a few different ones and prefer Masion Blanche. I go there every year now.

We've always camped in Houx Annexe. The facilities have got a bit better than when I first went (not that long ago), so the bogs aren't completely horrible and the showers are okay, but you'll find no electricity (bring a genny). We like it 'cos Houx Annexe is 90% Brits, has an excellent atmosphere and is definitely for those who are up for a loud, idiotic-behaviour-type Le Mans...

We have a group of 52 travelling down.
Thats approx 26 cars (/bikes etc).

Half of us will be leaving from Portsmouth on Wednesday night and the others on the Friday morning
(still to be confirmed).

Any one wanna join us for a HUGE PH convoy?

Even if it only lasts the first few miles it will be fun!
