Is there an easy way to transfer videos to DVD please?

Do you need special stuff or is it possible on the combined Video / DVD player systems?

I have a VCR/DVD combination player/burner, and 'tis very easy indeed. Just remember to finalise the DVD when you have finished the recording, otherwise it will not be playable on other machines.

Or you can plug your VCR into a HD/DVD recorder, record it to HD then dub to DVD if it won't do it in real time or if you want to edit it.

Unless of course they have Macro vision protection and then it wont.
