Le Mans in GT3

First time in a GT3 and I'm wondering where it won't go without ripping off the nose and the front splitter. Obviously the ferry will be tight but I guess they have ramps and getting into Parking Vert in the circuit is going to be interesting (getting over the kerb and then the gravel traps!)but where else. I recall Arnage parking as being pretty flat, as is Mulsanne parking. Anyone tried a GT3 into the Centre Jacobins underground car park in town for instance? Or even the ramps at Carrefour? Never had any problem in an M030 993 but this is different.

I don't want to be an arse and do damage, nor do I want to create chaos by getting stranded somewhere with a queue behind me. I know it sounds daft but the car is so low that I have to plan routes specifically to avoid speed bumps and steep ramps and there are places, Carshalton's 20mph zone for instance, which are strictly no go areas.

I've seen plenty of GT3's including RS's at LM in the last few years so it must be possible.

Rest easy you won’t have much of problem getting on and off the boat as they have plenty of experience of the Le mans weekend and the squadrons of motors heading south. Equally the big underground car park in Le Mans centre will be fine, we have done this many times and have had a GT3 CS in our convoy and it dropped in a treat as indeed did my Guara

The strange thing about that underground car park is it feels like blessed relief after you have driven up from the circuit, 20 degrees cooler, quiet and the last port of call before mooring up for large cold jar and something edible

Dont know how this compares but I saw a noble struggling to get off the ferry one year. I am sure the ferry people know what they are doing though as they must deal with tonnes and tonnes of low slung sportscars each year!

Busted my GT3 splitter on ferry, and we broke Noble splitter off to get on ferry...Watch rear of engine grounding out as you come over bumps/ramps...far more expensive than splitter.!!!!!!!!!

Dont get done for speeding either.......I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come off the ramp at a 45 degree angle and eeeeeasy does it. No problems. Some ferry operators have planks of wood at the ready to provide valuable lift if required.
Carry an envelope of 1,000 Euros in case you decide to give it some stick and you 'get caught in the act'.

Jambon...."The car behind is a Porsche",last year an RS6 would have had a problem when we passed the 155 mark mate.............Can it get to 190!

I think I will leave the serious speed to others this year - been there, done it, got the t-shirt - and I will just potter along at about 150kph in top with the stereo and a/c on and chill (and see if I can better 33.9 mpg this time.....)

Well, I heard a story about a little 'tussle' between a GT3, a GT2 and a an RS6 on the way down to LM a couple of yrs back that they were well matched in accelleration and upper end speeds. As for 190? Well, I know the delimited ones are good for over that.
