Ordered my first Seat :-)
Discussion
Just ordered my first seat and ony my 3rd new car ever.
Having considered a new Golf GT TD170 (currently have a MkV TDi SE 105), a Honda Civic Type GT Diesel, Alfa 147 Diesel and coming very close to placing an order on a Volvo C30 R Design diesel......I have ordered a Leon FR TDi 170 in Candy White for September 1 delivery. It's my second car for the 15K+ miles commuting to /from work etc, but think this is the right balance of power, toys and most importantly price!
The test drive was great, felt just like I was sitting in my Golf all the controls being the same, only with substantially more power........having negotiated what I believe a good deal and considering it for a couple of days, I've come away quite satisfied.
Guess the only downside is 10K mile service intervals where as my Golf goes almost 20K without needing a visit to the delaer.....

Oh I hate you
I have a leased car from work which means I make a contribution towards the cost relative to the amount of private miles I do. I just bought a house so funds were a bit tight so I went for the 1.9TDI Stylance (a difference to me of £70pm) but just had to get it in Candy White. It looks amazing. I should be getting it any day now.
I agree though, why would you buy a Golf? Same car, better looks, less money.
