Whats the latest on the Tram?
Discussion
Looks like I might have secured a last minute space
but am going to have to leave before the rest of the party does and get make my way back to the UK on Sunday night via public transport. If its anything like last year, catching a cab to the TGV in Le Mans isn't an option..
Anyone know if the tram is up and running now? If so, does it go anywhere near the train station? Can't get any sense out of a quick google..

The latest on the tram is that they go on strike shortly. The unions are complaining that Sarkozy is trying to drag french working rules into the 19th century and that their civil servant type pensions are to be reduced from the current 200% of salary and that they must work more than the stipulated 4 hours per month. This unfortunately is likely to be an ongoing situation from time to time.

the chances of you even making it out of the camp site are remote. Last year you struggled in a car with two occupants!! lmao!
Shady, Le Mans what Le Mans? After doing the Nurburgring 24 hours at the weekend I doubt any of our mob will ever go back to Le Mans.........
Seem to remember getting out of the circuit was the least of our problems last year..the chances of you even making it out of the camp site are remote. Last year you struggled in a car with two occupants!! lmao!

Cracking photos you have BTW.. Although I'm slightly confused as it looks like you actually saw some racing..

i belive there's a stop near houx and terte rouge. But dont quote me on it
The Tramway terminus is quite obvious on the map:http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/ressources/pd... (Square AS14)
Just below "Parking Antares Nord". The new entrance to the circuit is just metres away.
