where can i order an adapter online?

[Fordo]

I'm looking to get a converter ring so i can use a 48mm polarizer on my 52mm Nikon lens

Anyone know where i could order one online?

Are you 100% sure it is 48mm and not 49mm? Can't find any reference to 48mm but there are plenty of stepdown rings for 52mm - 49mm:

• inspects writing on side of filter closely*

you know what, you're right. The font hoya use on the side of they're filters, makes a 9 look almost like an 8! Doesnt help that its a an old filter with very worn writing. But its a cracking polarizer.

Thanks for spotting that, and cheers for the links

Will putting a 49 on a 52 not cause problems with vignetting?

This was my first thought.

Just buy a new filter.
