Does anyone know what the best colour printer is up to £200? I just need A4, and bluetooth/network capability would be nice (laptop doesn't have IR).

It's ages since I looked at printers and don't have a clue what's good and what isn't. Printing speed doesn't worry me too much, it'll be for normal documents and a few photos - the priority therefore being that it must do good photo printing.

Thanks

I eventually managed to digest all the advice and recommendations people madewink and I went for a Canon Pixma IP4500 for £70 and it's bloody great. Very happy with the print quality, and I chose not to bother with wireless connection.

Highly recommended.

Crazy isn't it? I bought an HP C5280 and it does everything, even print on disk, all for £70 from Amazon.

Yes, it does double sided, prints disks, comes with easy to use software and bangs out really good quality 6x4's in seconds. It even came with a free football!

New inks are about £55 though I think!

£70 buys you a lot of prints on Photobox - especially when you factor in the cost of inks as well. I've never been swayed by the print at home argument, especially with all the threads we get on here about printer calibration.

Agreed; I never print my own photos - wastes far too much ink and paper IMHO. The 'photo menu' button has never been used!
