Swapping 3200GT for 4200GT
Discussion
Appeals in many ways but I can't stand the 4200's rear lights. If I'd never had a 3200 then I might be able to accept them but the 3200's rear looks much better. Oh well, one less sale for Maserati.
Question is what is the chance of Maserati reverting to the old lights for Europe whilst leaving the North American market with the boring lights that customer clinics over there apparently wanted?

I did wonder if a company like Zertec might consider some kind of replacement light assembly for the 4200. Given the relatively low volume of sales of 4200's though I figure it's not going to be a massive moneyspinner for anyone. Shame.
IMHO a distinctive set of rear lights (particularly brake lights) are a good thing, one more reason for people to take notice of them!

I can't understand why Maserati did'nt engineer the rear panels of European and North American 4200GT's differently as I can't imagine there would be much cost involved with the dies for the 3200 already around.
Anyway has cost them a sale to me....for now. Trouble is struggle to find a decent coupe with a big boot for the baby buggy - 911 boot too small! Will run the 3200 for a bit longer.....
