Can anyone recommend a good model photographer?
Discussion
Hi,
To cut a long story short a friend of mine used to do a bit of fitness modelling until about 4 years ago when a battle with the onset of colitis ruined his body. He's now at a level that he's happy with and would like to do another portfolio shoot - not to get back into modelling but for his own benefit, to prove you can still look good with colitis etc.
Does anyone know of any good semi pro photographers that aren't out of this world expensive? He's going to scout around modelmayhem but I thought it would be a good idea to ask you lot in case there's anyone here. He lives near me so north London, though is willing to travel.

He may consider contacting Eamon: http://www.stpiduko.com/
He's currently looking to start "a portrait project of people in their homes, where I photograph people in an environment they are comfortable in rather than a street in passing. Volunteers are more than welcome, and will travel anywhere within the UK."
Best of both worlds I would think...

The guy who taught us portrait stuff was brilliant. Simon Young - based Gloucester.

I can recommend this photographer highly - http://www.affachan.com
If you pass on Affa's details to your friend and they like his work, Affa will be happy to discuss the sort of shots your friend is looking for and costs. Affa lives in London.
