So come on reveal your guilty music pleasures...

I'll start the ball rolling - when no one is around I have been known to pop Mrs DC's Sugababes CD onto the stereo and have a singalong...

There I've said it now (and I feel strangely liberated in a 'I'm the only Sugababes fan in the village' kind of way)

A quick glance at the cd collection reveals...

Gerry Rafferty - City to City (awesome album)
Edith Piaf - VBO (beautiful voice, so emotive)
Frank Sinatra - Past, Present & Future (I shouldn't like it but I do)
Yes - Tales from the Topographic Ocean

Doesn't sound all bad, the thing is that I'm a committed, hair down to my waist, studded belt wearing rocker. These albums live next to the Wildhearts, Turbonegro, Wednesday 13, Buckcherry, the Ramones and the like.

Still, at least I don't like Jethro Tull

What on earth is wrong with Jethro Tull?

Saw them last week as it happens. They're now slightly too competent and it wasn't loud enough but they've got some good material and they are original unlike so many others.Martin Barre is a much under-rated guitarist although I have to admit that some of his work on the earlier albums wasn't that good but he's really come on - only takes 40 years practice. Ian Anderson is a one-off.

Awful support band they employed though...

L.F.

P.S. Guilty pleasures - Abba and latest Take That album. Gary Barlow really knows how to write a good pop song.

They are still touring? Been about 15 years since I saw them performing live.

Guilty pleasures:

Dancing Queen by Abba, a perfect pop song.
At the moment I can't stop playing this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_4iyJZp7AM (not sure whether I should feel guilty about that one or not!) Love the Hammond Organ sound biggrin

Madonnaredface Mainly the older stuff, but even a few of her later ones are pretty good IMO. The videos make me nauseous though. Also if "Love Shack" by the B52's comes on the car radio I have a habit of turning it up really high. I've also been known to like the odd dance/pop song but they're mainly pretty naff.

The soundtrack to the original "Fiddler On The Roof".

I don't know why I like it. But I do.

I like the film even more! That scene where Hodl is waiting at the train station to go to Perchik still gives me goosebumps!
