New arrival

Just been given a slightly scruffy '88 Mayfair by a mate who just couldn't be bothered to finish it.

I plan to breath a little life back into this car but know little at present so I'll apologise in advance
for asking lots of much repeated questions...

To kick off:
As it's an '88 - how do I tell if it's set up to run on unleaded ?
Does anyone know of a decent mobile mechanic in Birmingham who could give
it a "once over" ?
