Hi

I'm trying in to arrange a trip down to the Monaco GP this year in my Griff (when I finally find one!) and am having problems finding anybody that will sell me just the tickets without some £150 per night 2-star motel package added on!

Does anybody have any suggestions on where else I can shop?
(JustTickets have sold out of anything cheaper than £500!)

Incidentally I'm looking for cheaper standing places (ideally Z1/Z2) and I'd welcome any advice from previous visitors.

I've been to MC a few times - including in my Griff 4.0 last year - and am aware that it will be crowded/expensive/crappy view/etc. but I've always wanted to see the F1 race there and am going for the atmosphere and for 3 days in Nice as much as anything.

Thanks in advance

Marco

we bought tickets from select tours / Select tickets in Bristol whom sell them for face value plus circa £10. When the GP is on my advice would be to stay in Cannes or Nice as you can then either get the train to Monaco or even better get up early and drive along the moyen corniche (sorry about the spelling, the clifftop road along the coast!).

We drove in on GP day and parked under casino square for £6! Best thing is that the car park exits on to the circuit after qualifying, and you can do a flying lap if you are one of the first out. The memory of my unsilenced Griff blasting through the tunnel with a F50 in front and an F40 behind will stay with me for a long time.

Motor Racing International who also do total packages will sell you tickets only, at face value plus £40 per order (up to 5 tickets) handling charge - 01304 612424.

I think Page and Moy will also but haven't found it in their brochure, ring them on 08700 106393. From memory, one was cheaper than the other but can't remember which.

We go to the Spanish GP most years and buy tickets direct from the track using their website. Have you tried to find a similar website because could well be the cheapest of the lot.
