Anyone know how I can access the discussion forum if I have forgotten my pasword? I've tried clicking on the "forgotten password?" spot and absolutly nothing happens. So if anyone associated with the club site reads this please e-mail me (see my gasing profile for address) and help me out - thanks Rich... p.s. (else I'll just stay with reading "The Gassing Station"

LOL! RichB you fool, they print your own password in sprint, must know you can't remember it.

Umm..... Mike, I think you misunderstood, RichB has forgotten his password for the discussion forum on the tvrcc site, not the userid/password for the members area.

Indeed, I can get onto the member’s area it's the usual name/password, but I also registered for the forum but can't remember my own username/password combination for that. Point is I set up my details etc. so yes I can re-register but that is the work-round not the solution! What I was hoping for is that someone involved with the tvrcc site might also read gassing and be prompted to correct the error in the web page code so that when you click on the "forgotten password" hot-spot you actually get some response!

My dad's got a Chimaera400 but unfortunately drives it like a milk float resulting in us being overtaken by Ford Galaxies and mopeds!!! I have noticed however that at about 100 the Chim revs pretty high making me wonder if she will actually get up to 150 or not??? Can anyone confirm my suspicion considering as most people on this forum seem to rip the hell out of their TVR's. I'm trying to persuade him to get a Tuscan but to no avail and he drive a DB7 Vantage but wasn't that impressed, new F-type could be good though!

Thanks Matt,
I think we're revving at more like 3500 but have never really pushed her much higher, I'm still trying to get insurance on the brute but at 19 i may have to stick with my mark 4 golf GTTDI!!

I had 140 outta my Chimaera (on my private test track officer) which was about 5k revs I think (I was quite busy so didn`t look at the rev counter much) so I would assume it can hit 150 or so at least

Sorry what thread are we supposed to be on? Was that a 4 litre you had at 140 on a track!!?? I don't suppose anyone has had a Tuscan at 180 or even a 4.5 cerbera? Another question I'm always asked is whether the speed 12 will beat a Mclaren F1, TVR seem reluctant to release top speed figures etc yet the car has been out for a year or so now, I can't belive Wheeler is frightened of Mclaren??????
