What colour for Dymags?

I have just aquired a set of the Mag Dymags (thanks Greg).
They need a refurb, so the question is what colour do I get them done.
Satin Black or shiny silver(yes that is a dymag colour!!)
My car is portafino blue (see profile pic)
Have put one side on as they are and not sure..

The grey always looked good with the purple, but I'm not so sure on your colour. Black could be a shout

Black look better on lighter colours like yours, and are easier to keep clean looking!

Whatever colour you get them done just make sure they are refurbed by someone who specialises in magnesium. I had a wheel from my Lotus Sport350 refurbed by someone who stated they could do the work correctly and I ended up buying a new rim @ £1,400 each. Richie

wow,never heard that before.i am near 100% sure the powder coaters i use have half of a mag wheel on show.maybe the other half melted in the oven

Careful - you might lose your wheel nut socket keeping it there - much safer to store it in the glovebox..

I was going to go Sparkle silver Alex, as I've never liked black.

On your colour car, I'd defo go a titanium colour (like the black chrome shown).

Have you spoken to these guys mate? They defo know their stuff and have a whole range of colours. But they do powder coat, so not sure if they could be done.

I think they do one similar to the top one with dymag written on it that is called "sparkle silver"

Maybe antique silver of grey would look best. I just think that black wheels actually make them look a lot smaller.

I have had some Marchesini and Dymag wheels powder coated, they're phosphate treated before applying the powder coat.
