I have never owned an Audi but thinking about an A5 3.2 Sport Auto (they now have paddle shift). Does anybody have any views on spec and colour. I was thinking about white but I know that sometimes these can suffer from heavy depreciation.

If you want to avoid depreciation go for the diesel.

Although looking at your current fleet the 3.2 petrol will probably seem very economical!!

Have you considered the S5, it looks more 'special' and it's not a hell of a lot more expensive.

Not sure I can bring myself to buy diesel. The 3.2 quatro apparently now falls under the highly significant 225 emmissions level.

The dealer does not seem to know if the automatic versions come with paddle shift. There is nothing about it in the brochure but it seems odd if paddles are available on the A4 but not the A5.

Multi-function tiptronic steering wheel will be an option.

S5 and 3.0 TDI I will each however, are far safer places for your money. I can imagine the 3.2 depreciating a LOT and being difficult to sell in a few years.

I have just purchased the A5 3.0 TDI, in a manual. Outstanding performance, also in real world terms, the TDI is probably a better drive than than an S5. Mainly down to the imense torque..

Yeah but yours isn't a Tiptronic, its a Multitronic.
