I can't quite figure it out. It's a lovely looking car and seemed to me to be looks wise almost as big as a 6 series. This was backed up by the large engines I kept seing advertised on the boot, but then this morning I followed a 1.8T. Whats going on there?

Is this more a 3 series coupe competitor?

IMO its like an A4 coupe so yes I'd class it as a 3 series rival. I've no idea on pricing though which would be a good indication as to where audi is targeting it.

3 series Coupe is the main competitor I'd say, with the S5 a rival to something like a well specified 335i M-Sport. The RS5 will likely compare with an M3 Coupe when it's released.

FWIW, I mistook the E92 3-series coupe for a 6-series when I first saw one.

A5 is definitely a 3-series competitor.

The A5 is not the same size as a 3-series coupe. Maybe closer to a 6 series coupe, however slightly more handsome. I bought one and I am loving it!!!

Well it's funny how it's factory orders are taking us until October to deliver due to the high demand then!
