Is this the correct one for S2, advice please



I'm told for these cars

Gerald, I got a genuine Ford Motorcraft part from TVR Car Parts (£80) Part Number 1 126 035 EPW14, there are a number on eBay but are pattern parts, Also you can't buy the gasket separately, so don't balls it up when fitting!
Also best to replace the 12 bolts (I think it was 12) as they are usually corroded, esp the bottom 2. Got mine from a Ford dealer.

Gerald, Not sure if you've replaced one before, but I gave all the bolts a good spray with Gas Plus every night for a week and didn't snap any bolts.

I've replaced mine twice over the years and on the second occasion had the bottom bolt snap - luckily leaving a bit exposed but we had to remove the pulley from the c'shaft to get at it ... so Mark's idea is useful in case.
