Advert for Grand Theft Auto 4

I was round at my parents this afternoon flicking through the mandatory Daiy Mail. There was an article in there saying how GTA4 was the work of the devil etc (as you'd expect) and by an unfortunate stroke of luck the pic of the writer of the article looked exactly...and I do mean EXACTLY....like the main character from GTA4!!! lol

Its not the work of the devil but after 12 hours playing it I can confirm it was over hyped and not that good...

Yes, I saw it the day it came out. It looks ok, but not exactly deserving the kind of hype that something like Gears of War enjoyed. Admittedly I've yet to play it. My 360 has been gathering dust for a vey long time.

I was in HMV looking through the cheapy games (I haven't bought one for my PS2 for years) and I saw GTA SanAndreas and Vice City stories for a tenner. I was oging to buy one of them but remember someone saying that GTA3 was probably the best of all, is one of the to above known as GTA three or is it a seperate game, and which one of the two is the best?

I was watching the trailer for GTA4 on youtube and it looks good but not £50 good!

GTA3 is neither of those, GTA3 was the first 3D game, then Vice City and San Andreas followed. San Andreas is the biggest game of the 3 but personally I enjoy Vice City the most as the city itself is just awesome, as is the story, the characters and the cars/bikes. It's a wicked game.

GTA4 is worth £35/£40 though which is what you can find it for, just for the amount of time you can play the game. Once you've done the single player (which is fairly long as far as todays games go) you will have endless hours of fun just using it as a sandbox game and pratting around, then there's the online multiplayer aspect too....

Good game. Over-rated, but still brilliant.

Anyway, back on topic, my sister thought the main character looked like Daniel Craig! I read that article in The Wail on Sunday, what a load of ste, why he felt the need to compare it to "childhood games" when it's clearly aimed at adults I don't know. There were quite a few comments on his blog pointing this out to him as well.

+1 Vice City was the best. GTA 3 was ok but just lacked that something, and San Andreas was just huge, too big.
